Bergmann
Bergmann, aka Bernhard Bergmann grew up in Eastern Tyrol and now lives in Austrias capitol Vienna. Starting out as an enthusiastic drum’n’bass-head, he soon moved over to techhouse, techno and a more eclectic approach in his dj-sets which he regularly drops in high-ranking viennese locations such as the Pratersauna, WUK, fluc, Badeschiff, Café Leopold, Morrison Club and more. Being quite versatile in his musical tastes, his work always features a solid grounding towards the dancefloor – there’s got to be some serious bass! But his work also showcases a quite educated view when it comes to various musical influences from the past, but always having a keen eye on what’s going on currently and what could maybe going on tomorrow. As co-founder of Pudelwohl Records he started producing and dj-ing for the “Pudelrudel” under the FUSION FOOD-moniker, together with fellow dj/producer PREROVSKY and made his debut with a stomping elektro/techhouse-rework for austrias hiphop-talent PHLOW in 2010. As a big step forward in his career he gained quite some interest in early 2013 with winning the RADIO FM4 SOUNDPARK REMIX CONTEST that had been held for avantgarde/electro-duo KOENIGLEOPOLD. His blending of not one, but three songs from the band into his track „SCHNELLES GELD“ brought him a lot of attention and the release of said floorburner on the blankTON recordings imprint. And this is only the beginning – keep your eyes peeled for a lot of stuff to come from BERGMANN
