SVILA, as you may already know, is Srdjan Trbic, Pavle Jungić, and Francesco Sologuren, an innovative music trio based in Vienna who just recently joined the house of blankTON. Together, they create hypnotic and powerful soundscapes using guitar, drums, and an array of electronics, blending elements of electronic music, dub, post-rock, and stoner rock into their powerful signature sound. In March of this year, they released their debut mini-LP, simply titled SVILA, on blankTON recordings.

This September, they performed a highly praised set at the WAVES VIENNA Festival, drawing a lot of attention to their unique and intense fusion of genres. Now, for those who missed the festival or could not get entry to the gig  – or just want to relive the experience – SVILA will be performing at the rhiz again —a perfect chance to experience their immersive soundscapes live. Attendees can also pick up the beautifully crafted vinyl edition of their debut release.

Opening the evening will be Mikka Blank, the label’s founder, who will set the tone with a short set of old-school electronica, dub, and experimental noise.
