The legendary Blue Note-Label now decided to re-release the exceptional compilation-series “Blue Break Beats”, which has been out of print for many years, and we are very happy about his. Featuring 38 legendary tracks from the likes of Donald Byrd, Canonball Adderley, Reuben Wilson, Lou Donaldson, Grant Green, Herbie Hancock and many more, this is a fantastic showcase as to where the heroes of the 90ies-downbeat-groove-revolution and legions of hiphop-producers took their cues – and samples – from. Stretched over 3 CDs, with all tracks remastered and completed with extensive linernotes, this is a package no groove-affinicado will want to miss and will sure find pure delight in. We are very happy that this fantastic compilation series is available again and even more happy to present this as our release of the month. But now we will just indulge ourselves into this massive package of rarities and classics and say no more. Please enjoy just as we do.
